3 months

I can't believe it has already been 3 months, since our little angel joined our family. Isn't he the cutest 3 month old? Paul and I think he is. He is such a happy, mellow baby. At his last appointment (3 weeks ago) Gavin weighed 12 IBS. 4 OZ. and he was 24 inches long. His pediatrician said he was in the 75th percentile for his height and weight. He also had 4 shots and he took them like a champ. He cried for a few minutes, and then he was back to his happy self. When it was time for bed he was a little fussy, but wouldn't you be if you had 4 shots in one day. His next appointment is next week, so we'll see how much he has grown.

Here are some Gavin facts:
-He eats, sleeps, and poop
-He is starting to be afraid of noises. He does not like the sound of my blowdryer
and has made it known to me.
-He talks a lot more
-He likes to be facing the action.
-He loves his bouncer...still
-He loves bath time...still
-He loves looking at books.
-He loves car rides
-He is a happy baby that loves to kick.
-He lets our primary class maul him.
-He still sleeps pretty well....about 6 hours a night. I think his sleeping schedule
might be changing soon. He has been sleeping longer at night, the last few nights.
This mommy his hoping it changes.
-He loves being outside....when it isn't 500 degrees

Happy 3 months, Gavin!

Grandparent lovin'

I love this picture.

Family Pictures

My Aunt Debe was kind and took some family pictures of us. Here are some of the ones we liked.

Gavin's Blessing

Gavin was blessed on June 5, 2011 by his dad. Paul did such a great job. Some of Paul's family were able to come from Thatcher for a few days, for Gavin's blessing. It was nice to see them. Gavin was spoiled while his aunts and Grandma were here. We had a dinner at my parents house after, with both families. Thanks to my parents for hosting it. Here are some pictures of Gavin's special day.

G-Man

Gavin had his two month appointment a week ago. He is 24 inches long and 12 IBS. 4 OZ. His doctor said he is in the 75th percentile for his height and weight. He had to get 4 shots today. He didn't cry until the last one. We held him for a little bit and then he was back to his mellow, smiley self. He did get a fever and was a little fussy at bed time, but it was nothing too unbearable. I would say he took them like a champ. He has been such a joy to have in our family. Here is a little about him.
-He smiles quite a bit now. It is so cute. It is hard catching it on camera though,
because he quits smiling when he sees the camera. Silly baby.
-He is starting to talk more. That is another thing I am having a hard time catching
it on camera again.
-He has some strong little legs and loves to stand up.
-He loves to eat. Don't mess with while he is eating and he will let you know that.
-He loves bath time, and splashes every where.
-He loves to look at books. He got a dog book from my sister this week, and loves it.
-He still wakes up during the night, but most of the time it is only once.
-He loves car rides. He falls asleep almost every time we go somewhere and I am okay
with that. It makes traveling so much easier.
-He is starting to hold toys in his hand. If he can reach my hair, he grabs it.
I won't be able to wear dangley earrings much longer.
I just can believe how much he has already grown in just two months. He is just so sweet. I couldn't imagine life without him. We are so blessed to have him in our family.
Here is our sweet boy.
