Gavin survived a month

Gavin is one month old today. I can't believe it has already been that long. He has survived his new parents for a month now. He has a lot of patience. He knew he would need it though, before he came to us. Being a mom is so wonderful, especially when you wake-up to such a sweet angel. He is such a joy to have in our home.
At his last appointment, Gavin weighed 9Ibs 11 oz. He is probably close to 10 pounds now. He has his one month appointment next week. I hope watching them get shots is easier then watching the second part of the PKU.
Gavin is growing like a weed. He eats all the time, but he is a growing boy. We are still working on his sleeping habits. He struggles taking long naps in the afternoon. At night he sleeps 4-6 hours at a time. He is getting better.
Gavin loves his daddy. When Paul is talking Gavin turns his head towards Paul. It is amazing that he already follows Paul's voice. He is a daddy's boy for sure. I tell Paul Gavin has him wrapped around his finger, but Paul says it is me who Gavin has wrapped around his finger. Okay it is true, he does. Gavin is looking more and more like his daddy too. He is one handsome little man.
Gavin is getting stronger everyday. When we are holding him, with his face facing our shoulder, he lifts his head and looks at us. It melts my heart every time his does this. It is too precious. He likes to push himself up on his legs too, and stand. He needs to slow down.
We just love him. He is such a joy to have in our family.
